The AHA’s BLS Course provides the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.

The AHA’s ACLS course builds on basic life support (BLS) skills, emphasizing high-performance team dynamics. Updated with the 2025 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC, successful completion earns a 2-year eCard.
Choose between two formats—both teach the same AHA science and result in the same certification card:
In-Person Classroom: Instructor-led training for both full and update courses.
Blended Learning (HeartCode): Online, self-paced coursework followed by an in-person skills check.
ACLS Provider Course: For first-time students or those wanting a comprehensive review.
ACLS Update / Renewal Course: For returning students. You must have a current ACLS card (a grace period of up to 30 days past expiration is accepted).
This course is for healthcare professionals who direct or participate in cardiopulmonary emergencies, including physicians, nurses, paramedics, and emergency/critical care personnel.
Passing Requirement: Students must pass a multiple-choice exam with a minimum score of 84% and complete classroom skills assessments.
After completing the course, students will be proficient in:
Assessment & Action: Systematic patient approach, high-quality BLS, and airway management.
Interventions: Rhythm recognition, defibrillation, cardioversion, and transcutaneous pacing.
Medical Care: Use of resuscitation medications and IV/IO access overview.
Team Dynamics: Leading or participating in high-performance resuscitation teams.
**The ACLS Provider Course is designed for individuals taking the course for the first time or for students that simply wish to take the entire course for enhanced learning and review.
**Student interested in the ACLS Update or Renewal course, must have a current card. A grace period of less than 30 days beyond the cards expiration date is accepted.
The AHA’s PALS course prepares healthcare providers to effectively recognize and treat respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children. Updated with the 2025 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC, successful completion earns a 2-year eCard.

This course is designed for healthcare professionals who regularly encounter pediatric emergencies, including personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units.
Passing Requirement: Students must successfully complete all simulated patient cases and pass a multiple-choice exam with a minimum score of 84%.
After completing the course, students will be proficient in:
Resuscitation & CPR: Performing high-quality infant/child CPR per AHA BLS guidelines and initiating CPR within 10 seconds of arrest.
Triage & Assessment: Early identification of patients requiring immediate intervention and distinguishing stable vs. unstable arrhythmias.
Respiratory & Shock Care: Differentiating and treating respiratory distress vs. failure, and compensated vs. decompensated (hypotensive) shock.
Advanced Management: Implementing post-cardiac arrest care and applying high-performance team dynamics.
