If you need a specific class and our calendar does not have what you need, please call and we will create or change a class as long as it doesn’t displace a student that is already signed up, and I am available to teach the class.
The AHA’s BLS Course provides the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.

The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
Important early use of an AED
Effective ventilations using a barrier device
Importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR

The course reflects science and education from the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Differentiate between patients who do and do not require immediate intervention, team dynamics, respiratory distress vs respiratory failure, compensated and decompensated (hypotensive) shock, unstable and stable patients with arrhythmias and implement post–cardiac arrest management.
